Each week Dr. Ravitz will recommend here a film for weekend viewing. Expect surprises, psychological twists, and a taste for emotional subtlety.
It's Christmas, so I guess I have to make a Christmas movie recommendation. There is, of course, It's a Wonderful Life, which I've seen at least 10 times, and which manages to make me cry every time I see it. BUT, my favorite Christmas movie is, without a doubt, Scrooged, with Bill Murray and an incredible Carol Kane. See it. Laugh. Cry. Laugh some more. Enjoy. Happy holidays.
