Al Roker Emcees 3rd Annual Child Mind Institute Child Advocacy Award Dinner
Dec. 20, 2012 HamptonsAl Roker emceed the 3rd annual Child Mind Institute Child Advocacy Award Dinner Wednesday, December 12, at Cipriani 42nd. The event which raised $6.4 million and had many notable attendees including Donald and Melania Trump, NYC Council Speaker Christine Quinn, Dr. Ruth Westheimer, Tribeca Film Festival's Craig Hatkoff and Jane Rosenthal. Funds raised from the event go towards the Child Mind Institute, working on transforming children's mental health care, pursuing scientific breakthroughs, and expanding education and outreach efforts.
