Speak Up for Kids
Creating change for children's mental health
Speak Up for Kids is the Child Mind Institute's signature public information campaign. Held each May, the campaign raises awareness, removes stigma, and empowers children and their families with help, hope and answers.
We are honored to work with our corporate, government and nonprofit partners to raise our collective voice for the more than 15 million children who face mental health and learning challenges.
Special thanks to our national partner Hunter for their generosity and support!
Speak Up for Kids 2015
This May, Speak Up for Kids will focus on creating change for children and in children's mental health in three ways:
1. The Change Maker Awards (May 4th in New York City) will celebrate leaders, organizations and local heroes who are making significant change in children's lives and transforming the field of children's mental health.
2. The Children's Mental Health Report (released May 4th at the Awards) will be an annual data-driven summary of key information about children's mental health to illustrate where we as a nation need to make change.
3. Our Get Involved area will feature information on our sponsors and partners and include ways to get involved and help make change.
